Active Bookmark is a plug-in for Internet Explorer browser. This is a little and handly utility which is necessary for most of all for people who like to read big web pages using Internet Explorer. Main feature of Active Bookmark is ability to make a bookmark to concrete place of the page, and an ability to make a few bookmarks to one web page. Also Active Bookmark can automatically fill short decribtions of bookmarks which loading from title HTML tag of web page and long description which loading from "Description" meta tag of web page. And also it can turn on Internet Explorer in edit mode as a result you can use Internet Explorer as a powerful WYSIWYG editor.

After the installation of Active Bookmark please reopen you Internet Explorer. You can see Active Bookmark button in your Internet Explorer toolbar and in the menu View->Explorer Bar will be added item - "Active Bookmark". Please click to the button or the menu item for open Active Bookmark Explorer Bar.

You can use menu on the top side of Active Bookmark window or context menu if you click to any item of Active Bookmark tree.

You can add folders, bookmarks and Position Bookmarks. You can have a few bookmarks to different parts of the same web page.

Inserting bookmarks:

Select a folder for saving new bookmark or any item in this folder and click to Insert bookmark... menu item. Check autoloaded fields Short description and Long description and edit their if it is necessary. If you want to save the web page locally, check corresponding check-box below. Click button.

Inserting folders:

Select a folder for saving a new bookmark or any item in this folder and click to Insert folder... menu item. Fill Short description and Long description fields. And click Insert button

Inserting Position bookmarks:

You can make any amount of Position bookmarks to any place of web page. Click to pop-up menu item Position bookmarks->Add Position bookmark.

Type name of Position bookmark in dialog and click OK.

Loading bookmarks:

For loading of saved bookmark select the bookmark or right-click to the bookmark. Click to Loading bookmark menu item.

Loading Position bookmarks:

Load a bookmark, right-click to this bookmark and click pop-up menu Position bookmarks->"your Position bookmark".

Edit and Delete items:

You can switch on Internet Explorer to edit mode and use it as powerful WYSIWYG editor. Just click to Edit page menu item.
